We are looking for woodworking artisans.
Ryosuke Nagata Shoten was founded around the same time as the opening of Kobe Port, and in 2025, it will celebrate its 153rd anniversary.
Most of the furniture we make is custom-made, and we aim to create furniture that can be cherished for another 100 years with proper maintenance.
We create designs based on the dimensions of the customer's room, their body size, and their tastes, so we produce furniture based on new blueprints each time.
Why not join us in creating one-of-a-kind furniture, utilizing your skills and knowledge?
As a local industry supporting Kobe.
The furniture we make is called "Kobe Western Furniture" and is recognized as a local industry in Hyogo Prefecture.
Kobe is known as the birthplace of Western furniture culture in Japan, and even today, Western furniture made over 100 years ago remains in the Western-style buildings and foreign settlements designated as Kobe Tangible Cultural Properties, and we sometimes undertake restoration work.
This is a rewarding environment for those who wish to contribute to the region and local community through craftsmanship.
